
Mexican Chocolate Brew

If you love Lions Brew, chocolate, and cinnamon, then you're in for a special treat! Our version of a Mexican Coffee combines the boldness of our brew, the sweet, rich flavor of chocolate, and the warmth of cinnamon for a beverage that is sure to please!
Ingredients:

2 cups hot Lions Brew Original Dark Roast, brewed strong with ground cinnamon

*1/2 cup of canned, unsweetened coconut milk, (or milk of choice)

3 tablespoons chocolate syrup

1 tablespoon dark brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Whipped cream or marshmallows, for garnish

Cinnamon sticks or chocolate shavings, for garnish
Instructions:

Add 2 1/2 tablespoons of Lions Brew Original Dark Roast and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon to the filter basket of your coffee pot, and brew with 20 ounces of water to make a strong brew.

Add 2 cups of the brewed Lions Brew, coconut milk, chocolate syrup, and dark brown sugar to a medium saucepan set over medium-low heat. Bring mixture to just under a boil while stirring.

Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream or marshmallows, add a cinnamon stick and sprinkle with chocolate shavings!

*We highly recommend using this brand of coconut milk as it is so thick and creamy which adds a nice consistency to the beverage! But feel free to substitute any milk of your choice.
